A while ago Brooke e-mailed the mom's about this bread co. and their super deals on day old bread. I finally got to go check it out this morning and got some great deals! Every morning, but especially Fridays because the selection is better, they have their day old bread...2/$1.00!!! (They sell in the stores for about $3-5.00/loaf) I got Oat Bran, Whole Wheat Honey, Jalapeno Cheddar, Bread Bowls (for soup), and sliced dinner bread...they have many other kinds, but that's all my freezer will hold for now. :) They also have pastries marked down too. I got a really yummy blueberry cake/bread loaf for 99c. Here's their website to check it out...

I just had to give props to the Cardinals for their performance the past two weeks. This is the best I think I've ever seen them play. I can't wait for next week!!! Goooooo Cardinals! :)

Emi's 1 1/2 years old!

Emily turned 1 1/2 a little over a week ago and I've loved reading everyone's little ones birthday & 1/2 birthday posts...and since I have the worst memory, and Emi's doing some cute things right now I thought I better write it down. :)

*she LOVES playing with her baby dolls...feeding, holding, putting them to bed, etc. and saying baaaay-beeee (baby).

*she seems to be potty training herself...she'll go to the bathroom in her diaper and then grab her diaper and say oh-oh-oh. Once she even took my hand after she has gone in her diaper and lead me into the bathroom. As most of you know, this is COMPLETELY different than Alyssa!

*she's starting to say a lot of words ...ma-ma, da-da, ya (yes), bye-bye, and bubba (what we call our dog Bailey) are her favorites! ...but she's starting to repeat a lot of things we try to have her say.

*she's just starting to say no and mine. :( Alyssa gets so upset when she says it...I'm like hmmmm I wonder where she learned it from???

*she tries to get herself dressed (she's really good at getting herself undressed, especially during naps!).

*she LOVES shoes! it's so funny...she always wants to show people her shoes, she takes them off, puts them on, and picks out different pairs from her room all day.

*she likes looking at books...not me reading them to her, just looking at them by herself.

*she loves dancing...and has some pretty sweet dance moves where she takes one leg and puts it in front of her and then spins in a circle. hard to explain, but very funny!

*she has to do everything that Alyssa does ...m&m's for Alyssa, m&m's for Emi ...dancing w/Alyssa, dancing w/Emi ...tickling Alyssa, Emi falls to the ground and waits to be tickled. It's pretty cute!

*she has the sweetest smile and eyes!!! :) I love you Boo Bear!

Trip to Flagstaff

Last week we got to go to Flagstaff for a couple of days with the Williams family. We had such a nice time hanging out with them and playing in the snow! The first day we drove up Nate, the girls, and I pulled off somewhere on the NAU campus and let the kids just play in a field of snow for a while when we first got into town, then we walked around the town for a while, and then met the Williams' for some sledding before dinner. The next day we hung low in the morning and then went to a really big sledding place for the afternoon that had all different sizes of hills for everyone to slide down. It was really fun to get away and play in the snow for a couple days!

I got to take Tyson a couple times...his smile was too cute when we got down the hill, he had so much fun!

What a big girl!

Trey and Alyssa were so cute together...they would sled down all by themselves on one slide and then they would carry the slide together back up the hill!

We had a jetted tub in our hotel room so I thought it'd be fun to give the girls a really fun bubble bath...well as you can see it ended up to be a really out of control bath! :)

Christmas Fun

We had such a nice time celebrating Jesus' birthday this year! Alyssa loved hearing the amazing story of God sending His son to earth over and over again...and so did I! It was really fun to do different crafts with her this year relating to Jesus' birth, I can't wait to see how much more her and Emi grasp next year.

Alyssa was too cute with my Aunt & Uncle's Nativity scene in their front yard. She went over and talked with Mary, Joseph, and Baby Jesus and then wanted a picture of each of them separately, it was pretty cute!



Christmas morning we had my immediate family over. Emily got new baby bottles (feeding her babies is one of her favorite things to do). Here's Emi feeding her babies...and herself! ;)


Alyssa got new princess dress up clothes for grandma's house...she loved that it came with earrings!
