Elephant Rocker

My friend Kelly is having her 1st baby, a little girl named Ashley. I am SO excited!!! She loves elephants, so when I came across this old elephant rocker at a yard sale I had to get it for her. This was a fun project to do and I really loved how it ended up. I can't wait to see Ashley play on it someday. :)
The flower is a hair clippie, which is removable so it can be changed out for a different look (and can be used by Ashley). :)
Kelly is a huge UofA fan and Tim a huge ASU fan so I got some clippies that represent each school...like the maroon/gold flower clippie below. (Sorry I didn't get a picture of the elephant wearing the UofA colored bow clippie Kelly!)
Nate came up with this idea for the tale, some twine braided together...I love it! :)

The elephant is adorable! I think the best gifts are the ones that are a labor of love. Speaking of which, today Eva wore the scarf you made for her. She loves it and she got so many compliments on it. Good job crafty mama!
